Editorial Project Manager
Westchester Publishing Services UK is growing to support our expanding client list. We currently have a full time opening (5 days) per week, for an academic and trade publishing project manager. The position is remote. You will be working across multiple publisher accounts and be responsible for accounts of your own.
Responsibilities
- Fully manage book and journal production, including schedules, workflows, budgets, and freelancers.
- Copyedit and proofread to quality-check the work of freelancers and our in-house typesetting teams
- Ability to understand XML-first workflows, digital and litho publishing
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years book and journal production experience
- Prior work experience in academic publishing highly desirable
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Knowledge and ability to retain different house styles
- Excellent client-facing attitude essential

Compensation: £30,000-37500 per annum based on experience, plus working package

Sales Costing & Pricing Analyst (Publishing Services)
The Sales Costing & Pricing Analyst serves as a key member of the organisation’s Pricing Centre of Excellence, responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy, and discipline in pricing across all client engagements. This role analyses service costs, pricing structures, margins, and profitability to support sales and business decision-making.
Working closely with Sales, Accounting, and Delivery teams, the Analyst develops structured pricing models for publishing services—including per-page, complexity-based, service/task, and project-based pricing—and ensures that proposals, rate cards, and invoices align with company profitability targets.
This role plays a critical part in helping the organisation grow competitively while maintaining margin integrity. The candidate selected for this position must have legal authorisation to work in the UK and will be expected to work 20 hours per week in a fully remote capacity. This position also requires occasional travel to the London metropolitan region to attend onsite meetings.
