Project Manager
Westchester Publishing Services UK is recruiting for a full-time project manager to join the growing team. The position is hybrid, with 3 days per week spent in the York office and 2 working from home. The successful candidate will be a postgraduate with at least two years of book and journal production experience, working in academic publishing.
You will be working across multiple publisher accounts and be responsible for at least 5 of your own, so exceptional organisational skills, the ability to retain different house styles and a great client-facing attitude are essential.
You will also be able to:
- Manage schedules, workflows, budgets, freelancers and suppliers
- Copyedit and proofread to quality-check the work of freelancers
- Understand XML-first workflows, digital and litho publishing
- Quality-check the work of our in-house typesetting teams
