On June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) is set to come into effect, requiring publishers who sell books in the European Union to have available for purchase a product version that is accessible to consumers with print disabilities, visual challenges, or other issues where the use of an e-reader or other assistive technology devices is the most beneficial method for obtaining information.
Below are several resources that review the impacts of the EAA for publishers and offer potential solutions to consider when determining the most appropriate course of action. We have conducted discussions with many publishing companies about how they can ensure their products are in compliance and encourage you to contact us to talk about the workflow solutions we are able to provide to help you do the same.
