Project management
Each new Academic or Trade project received by Westchester Publishing Services is assigned to one of our experienced Project Managers (PM); either in the UK or India, depending on which project management model the client publisher selects.
The PM handles all communications with the publisher contact, freelancers, and our composition/typesetting units. The PM can also liaise with the author too, if the publisher indicates that preference. The PM is responsible for all stages of production and for maintaining the schedule.
In addition, the PM is responsible for reviewing the copyedited manuscript, ascertaining that specifications are complete, and selecting the proper copyeditors, proofreaders, and indexers for the project; working with the author too, if appropriate.
The PM also works directly with the designer and with the art programme.
